The University of Mississippi

A New Patterson School of Accountancy

After a decade and counting of being ranked among the nation’s top 10 and No. 1 in the SEC, the University of Mississippi’s Patterson School of Accountancy stands with the best.

Now, donors can help us realize our vision of a new, more than $110 million home at the corner of Grove Loop and University Avenue. The new learning environment is projected to take the expanding program to a higher level.

Balconies and terraces of the new building will offer impressive views of UM’s famous Grove. The four story, 100,000-square foot building will have tiered auditoriums and classrooms. There will be conference rooms for group projects, space to study alone, and office suites for faculty and staff. The Gertrude C. Ford Career Center locating there will build on the program’s already impressive job placement rates, opening new doors for students as they enter the accounting field.

The Patterson School of Accountancy will be more than just an impressive new space. It will be an important recruiting tool for top faculty and students. The new school will also put the entire department under the same roof, providing an even stronger sense of community.
