Campaign Priorities

Rose Society
Support the Ole Miss Women’s Council by making an annual gift to join the Rose Society. Your membership may be designated for yourself or as a gift to honor a special person in your life. The Rose Society provides general support and 100 % of your contribution directly impacts student programming.
You can join with an annual gift of at least $1,000, which is payable outright or monthly. Not able to commit at the Rose Society level, but still want to participate? Ask about giving at the Rose Bud level with an annual membership contribution of $500, which is open to donors under 30 years old.
Your membership may be made in your name or to honor a special person in your life. Rose Society members are invited to Women’s Council programs, including a signature annual event held specifically to thank donors.

Global Leadership Circle
The classroom is just one dimension of a student’s learning experience. The Women’s Council international studies/internship program enables students to expand their horizons, appreciate other countries and cultures, and continue their commitment to making the world a better place.

Endowed Scholarships
An endowed scholarship educates students in perpetuity. Contributions of $125,000 for a general scholarship or $250,000 for an independent restricted scholarship are available. An individual, corporation, or foundation can establish a scholarship and be paid in a lump sum or paid over time. Scholarships are often named in honor or memory of a person who personifies its spirit of both leadership and giving, but the endowment can be named at the donor’s discretion.

Planned Giving
Consider setting up an endowment for a Women’s Council scholarship through estate planning. Those who either fund or plan a deferred gift, such as a bequest or a life income plan, may, if they wish, become members of the 1848 Society, which recognizes planned giving donors. The scholarship would then be endowed at the execution of the estate.
